The Government of Sao Tome and Principe intends to achieve the country's sustainable economic development, adopt policies aimed at developing the free trade area and the movement of people, goods and services, and resolve restrictions associated with non-trade barriers.
It is also intended to intensify political, economic and social relations to take better advantage of the country's proximity to other countries in the region.
It is therefore expected that the country will experience a new era in view of the new opportunities that open up, taking advantage of all its natural, human and financial resources.
Foreign investment makes a fundamental contribution to the growth of Sao Tome and Principe and to the country's economic development.
